Contraindications

Intrathecal administration of vincristine is prohibited. Vincristine is administered strictly in / in with an interval of 1 week. The duration of the injection should be approximately 1 minute. Use during pregnancy and lactation

In case of an accidental overdose, an increase in Vincristine side effects should be expected. The specific antidote is not known. Treatment is symptomatic and should include limiting fluid intake, prescribing diuretics (to prevent complications,associated with the development of the syndrome of increased secretion of antidiuretic hormone), the use of phenobarbital (to prevent seizures), the use of laxatives (the prevention of intestinal obstruction). It is also necessary to monitor the activity of the cardiovascular system and carry out hematological monitoring. Hemodialysis is not effective.
