Mechanism of action
PECTUSIN - combined drug. Contains Menthol. Irritant, the effect of which is mainly due to reflex reactions associated with the stimulation of sensitive receptors of the mucous membranes. It has a slight local anesthetic ("distracting") effect, has weak antiseptic properties. It has a stimulating effect on mucous membrane receptors and has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effects.
Indications and usage
Inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract:
- Tonsillitis.
- Laryngitis.
- Pharyngitis.
- Tracheitis.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to components of Pectusin.
Dosage and administration
Pectusin pill should be kept in the mouth until complete resorption.
