Mechanism of action

Kapsikam has a local irritating, analgesic, anti-inflammatory effect.

Indications and usage

Radiculitis, osteochondrosis (a disease of the spine associated with metabolic disorders in the intervertebral discs and bone tissue), arthritis (joint inflammation), neuralgia (pain spreading along the nerve), warming massage in athletes.

Contraindications

• Individual hypersensitivity to the components of the Kapsik ointment;
• diseases with violations of the integrity of the skin;
• pregnancy;
• breastfeeding period;
• childhood.

Dosage and administration

Kapsikam applied externally. When muscle and joint pain - 1-3 g ointment applied with an applicator to the area of ​​the painful area and lightly rubbed into the skin 2-3 times a day. The duration of treatment depends on the nature and severity of the disease, but without the advice of a doctor you can use no more than 10 days.After each procedure, wash your hands with cool water and soap.

When used as a warming agent in athletes, 2-3 g of Kapsik ointment is applied with the help of an applicator to the muscle area and rubbed into the skin with a massaging motion until it becomes slightly red. After training, the ointment should be washed off the skin with cool water.

Adverse reactions

Possible - itching, swelling or urticaria. These symptoms disappear after 8-12 hours after stopping the use of the ointment.

Special notes

Avoid contact with Kapsik ointment on open wounds and mucous membranes. In order to avoid side effects, it is recommended to pre-apply a small amount of ointment on the skin to determine the sensitivity to the drug.
